Complaints
Complaints about us or our content
Send complaints about Your Crypto Guide — our content, our disclosures or our handling of your information — to hello@yourcryptoguide.com.au (or privacy@yourcryptoguide.com.au for privacy matters). We acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and aim to give you a substantive response within 30 days. If your complaint is about privacy and you’re not satisfied with our response, you can escalate it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
Complaints about a partner’s financial service
We are a publisher and introducer, not a financial services provider — we can’t resolve a dispute about an account, trade, product or advice you received from a partner or any other provider. Raise it with the provider’s own complaints team first (Australian financial firms must have an internal dispute resolution process). If it isn’t resolved, you can take it to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority — a free, independent ombudsman service — at afca.org.au or by phoning 1800 931 678. Whether a crypto-related complaint falls within AFCA’s remit depends on the provider’s membership and the product involved; AFCA’s website explains what it can consider.
If you believe you’ve encountered misconduct, a scam or an unlicensed operator, you can also report it directly to ASIC at asic.gov.au.

One thing we can’t do by email: tell you what to invest in, whether a platform suits you, or what your tax position is. We’re not licensed to give financial advice and we’re not registered tax agents — for personal advice, speak to a licensed financial adviser or find a registered tax agent via tpb.gov.au.
